Remote Access To Your Pc

from a Mac: How can I have a remote access on my home LAN (no Internet) to another Mac and PC?
Hi,
Please tell me how: to have a remote access
[so that I could see the screen, desktop, execute programs etc. Moreover, of course sharing files and printer, so it would be possible to drag from a remote screen on a local machine and vice versa]
from a Mac to
1) Mac
2) PC (Windows 7)
It is home network – runs through router, wireless.
There is no need to access the computer through internet.
I still do not have a Mac and this networking problem is important to decide if I am going to buy one. So how is it possible? Cheaply? ![]()
I’ve seen that http://www.apple.com/remotedesktop/ costs more than a few bucks
And it is probably more than I need.
Thank you for your explanation/advice.

Free should be cheap enough for Mac->Windows remote access.
I’m not familiar with anything free that allows remote access to a Mac desktop.
